How long have you been a member of Fit Chick Express and what brought you here? My friend Deb told me about FCE back in 2012.  I have been a member since then but had to take some time off because life got in the way.  During that time, I worked out on my own but missed FCE a lot.  I kept in touch but missed the women, workouts, and challenges.

What has been your greatest accomplishment since becoming a member of FCE? My greatest accomplishment is being able to hike/climb 14ers!  It takes a lot of strength, endurance and perseverance to get to the top.  It takes, not only physical ability, but mental as well.  FCE gives you both – the physical strength, endurance and the mental capacity to stick it out and know you can do it.

What keeps you motivated? What obstacles have you had to overcome? My motivation is purely to keep myself strong and healthy so I can continue to hike and climb mountains, keep up with my kids (and one day grandkids), help people, travel the world and truly live each day.

I think the biggest obstacle all women face is time – time to do things for ourselves, to put ourselves first.  We all have insane ‘must do’ lists.  FCE is 30 of the best minutes you’ll spend on yourself during the day.  To overcome the time obstacle, I think of those mountains, kids and travel destinations… it gets me to FCE every time!

What is your favorite part of FCE? There are so many favorite parts!  The women are incredible – they are strong in their hearts and body, they are open, loving, and crazy fun.  My favorite exercises are strength exercises – I love the tire pull, ropes, TRX and kickboxing!

What advice would you offer to newbies?  The best advice I can offer is to have a vision of your life to guide you and take it one day at a time.  Life is easier when your body is strong, especially as you get older.  When you start FCE, your body will be sore but you WILL see a difference in your strength and stamina in time.

In one sentence, how would you describe your experience at FCE.  My experience at FCE has empowered me to take a firm hold of my future and live my very best life!

 How long have you been a member of Fit Chick Express and what brought you here? 7 months and was referred by Amy Stoehr, and a desire to be fit and healthy.

What has been your greatest accomplishment since becoming a member of FCE? Participating in and finishing my first 5k Dirty Girl Mud Run

What keeps you motivated? What obstacles have you had to overcome? All of the wonderful trainers and new friends that I have made. The way I feel after working out and how I look compared to when I started.

I have had to overcome my lack of confidence and feeling comfortable in working out in general and realizing I can do it!

What is your favorite part of FCE? FCE is a non judgemental place to work out with ladies of all ages and fitness levels. I love having instructors who truly care about you and want to help you succeed in obtaining your fitness goals. All of the wonderful ladies are an extra added bonus, I have made new great friends.

What advice would you offer to newbies?  I would tell newbies to come in and try everything out and to not be intimidated, this is a very welcoming place to be! Everyone is very friendly and helpful.

In one sentence, how would you describe your experience at FCE.  FCE is amazing, it has truly changed my life for the better, I look and feel amazing!

How long have you been a member of Fit Chick Express and what brought you here? I’ve been a member of Fit Chick for about 9 months. I came to Fit Chick after moving to Colorado from NY. A work friend, hint red hair/completely crazy, told me about this place and was very inviting!

What has been your greatest accomplishment since becoming a member of FCE? I’ve lost some weight, gained some muscle. No idea how much gained or lost because I don’t measure! My greatest accomplishment here has nothing to do with physical changes but all the mental ones. My attitude towards food, working out and eliminating my shy temperament. Okay still working on the shy thing- but Fit Chick changes more than your body for sure.

What keeps you motivated? What obstacles have you had to overcome? What keeps me motivated is the high of feeling good. Whenever I don’t want to show up to class I try to really focus on that “I just worked out and I feel so amazing” vibe and carry on.

My shoulder pain is a huge obstacle- plus I’m really uncomfortable in groups. So, when you have an injury and are in a group of people and you can’t participate in the same activity, well, it makes you (maybe just me?) feel strange. I really had to get over myself and accept that I can’t do some things and it’s okay!

What is your favorite part of FCE? The community is really great! I love the variety of classes and instructors!

What advice would you offer to newbies?  Try every class! Find what you love, let go what you don’t. Talk to the trainers, tell them what hurts and make the adjustments and just have fun!

In one sentence, how would you describe your experience at FCE.  FCE has been an uplifting, inspiring and loving place.

How long have you been a member of Fit Chick Express and what brought you here? I have been coming to Fit Chicks for 3 years. I met Angie at an event and signed up for her newsletter. I received her newsletter for over a year and finally took her up on a free two week trial.

What has been your greatest accomplishment since becoming a member of FCE? I finally felt good enough to be in my family pictures! I sent one to EVERYONE I knew and even had them framed and put up around our house! It is a reminder of how hard I worked to get to that “comfortable” place.

What keeps you motivated? What obstacles have you had to overcome? I have had many injuries, but love that the Fit Chicks team is so open to modifying workouts and it keeps me motivated to not give up.

What is your favorite part of FCE? My favorite part of Fit Chicks Express is knowing that I’m going to get a great workout in a short time! My time is very valuable and I need every minute to count! In 30 minutes I feel strong and confident when I leave! An added bonus…If you haven’t been for a while Angie will call you out! Funny thing is you’ll be back the next day ready to jump back in!!

What advice would you offer to newbies?  Try everything Fit Chick has to offer! You won’t be disappointed!

In one sentence, how would you describe your experience at FCE.  Fit Chick Express has given me a place to feel confident about myself and my body. I enjoy the other women that work out with me and feel motivated to continue my journey to being fit!

How long have you been a member of Fit Chick Express and what brought you here? I started coming this past summer.  I have seen other members successfully building their strength and becoming more fit.  Ann Noble encouraged me to begin coming.

What has been your greatest accomplishment since becoming a member of FCE? I have an increased energy level and confidence in persevering when feeling challenged.

What keeps you motivated? What obstacles have you had to overcome? Being around other women who are dedicated to bettering themselves has motivated me. It is always difficult for me to make time for myself.

What is your favorite part of FCE? I enjoy the people, especially the trainers.

What advice would you offer to newbies?  Even if you can only dedicate a couple of days a week to be at FCE it is well worth the time.

In one sentence how would you describe your experience at FCE.  I am encouraged and energized every time I come to FCE.

How long have you been a member of Fit Chick Express and what brought you here? I’ve been a member at Fit Chick for a little more than 2 years. I found Fit Chick because I was looking for a place that would be a place that felt comfortable to workout at and I would want to keep going. I don’t like the big athletic clubs that feel so impersonal. Fit Chick felt like a good fit from the beginning, I enjoy working out and feel supported and encouraged in my health and fitness.

What has been your greatest accomplishment since becoming a member of FCE? I have 4 active kids and I feel like my greatest accomplishment is being able to keep up with them. I can head out on a hike with them, bike rides and just running around with them.

What keeps you motivated? What obstacles have you had to overcome? I feel like I stay motivated because every time I put myself and my health first I recognize how much better I feel and how all those other things in my busy life will get done and I feel better when doing them. My biggest obstacle is myself! I was never one to exercise and exercising has never become a real habit in my life. I figure it’s never too late to make a change in your life and FCE is helping me make that change!

What is your favorite part of FCE? What advice would you offer to newbies?  All the lovely people. Everyone is so wonderful, kind and supportive!
