Living life to it’s fullest each and every day!

Steph and Minh

Yesterday we put on a Charity 5K Run/Walk for one of my trainers and her husband. Her husband was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer which metastasized to his lungs.

The event was heartbreaking and amazing all at the same time. So many people signed up to run and come out and support them and we even had people just donate as they walked by on the trail.

It was so nice to see a smile on Stephanie’s face, even though I am sure it was super hard for her to be there. I can’t even imagine  what those two are going through right now, but we have seen their love shine through during this hard time, many times over the past 5 months.

It has really been an eye opener for myself. I feel like before I would just let every day go by, without even thinking about it. I got into the same old routine, work, sleep, eat and it went on the same every day. Since this has happened to them, I find myself stopping more to “smell the roses” as the saying goes. I take in each and every opportunity as if it’s the most special thing to ever happen. I have learned to appreciate all that I have in my life and not take anything for granted. It took me almost 40 years to finally find true happiness in my life and feel that I had finally received everything that I wanted. So now the goal is to truly take it all in and embrace it, enjoy it and love it, because you just never know what might happen.

I wish all the peace, strength, happiness and love to my friend Stephanie and her husband life for as long as they have time together. <3
