I shared this in my Hormone Health for Women (feel free to join!!) group and even though I didn’t hear it, I could tell what was going through some of their minds…
“But those are all the things I love!”
“What is there to eat if I don’t eat those things??”
Working with the hundreds of women year after year, I get into that conversation more times than you can imagine.
So, truth be known, I LOVE those foods also, BUT…
They are not serving me OR my body.
They cause things like…
Digestive issues
Achy joints
Acne
Lack of motivation and energy
Insomnia
Insulin resistance and stubborn weight loss
Inflammation and “fluffiness” around the butt, hips and thighs
And that is just a SMALL list of things that these foods can attribute to.
For example, this past weekend I indulged in many of the things in that picture: alcohol, wheat, sugar and dairy
Any my body immediately reacted.
I had insomnia and hot flashes at night
My digestion was off
I got itchy red bumps on my stomach area
I had no motivation to do anything and wanted to nap
And my entire body was all puffy
And yes, I did have a great weekend, but was it worth it?
This time it was.
But it’s not always worth it.
And what is hard for me to imagine is that some people are going around feeling this way ALL THE TIME!!
I mean, YIKES!
That does not sound fun to me!
If that is YOU and you are SO OVER feeling that way, I have the solution for you…
My 21 Day Beat the Holiday Bulge Challenge
