Healthy Happy Life & Body!
The FMS itself is a series of seven different movements and three clearing tests that are combined into a movement screen. We use these screenings to look at your quality of movement. The seven tests require a balance of mobility and stability. Mobility and stability are the essential elements of the movement patterns in the FMS. If there are limitations in either, the FMS will reveal them.
FMS is a simple but highly reliable and effective way to ensure you are getting the best results with each and every workout.

WHY SCREENINGS ARE BENEFICIAL TO YOU:
They increase your workout performance.
You get BETTER results from your workouts.
They decrease your risk of injury.
You experience less pain when you have correct movement.
They remove weak links in the chain so that you can live to your full potential.
They help to decrease healthcare costs because your body is so much stronger and you are moving in a way your body should be moving.
There are 7 different screenings in which we will rate you from Zero (which means there is pain associated with the movement) up to a 3, which is passing. Our goal is to have you at equal 2’s or 3’s. We also want you to be symmetrical in your movements- meaning rated the same on each side. If ratings of 1’s appear, there are exercise limitations that need to be addressed to help keep your body moving in a healthy and functional manner.
At the end of the screenings, we will go through a foam rolling sequence and then discuss a few corrective rehab exercises that will help you to generate a better range of motion and more functional movement.

Corrective Rehab Sessions — After your FMS screening, you will have the option of 4, 8 or 12 sessions.
In these sessions will start with a foam rolling and myofascial release routine, which is important to break down any fascial restrictions and improve muscle flexibility.
We will then work through specific exercises that correspond to your low screening ratings, focusing on better stability, mobility, and movement.
–4 Sessions = 128.00
–8 Sessions = 240.00
–12 Sessions = 336.00

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- What should I wear? Workout clothes and shoes you workout in regularly.
- Is this a workout? No. You’ll hardly break a sweat.
- How long will this take? I would plan for 30-45 minutes, depending on your scores.
- What will I know after the initial FMS Screen? You will know if what you are currently doing is what is best for you in any exercise program. If you are red-lighted, you will be asked not to perform certain exercises until we are able to change your screen scores for such movements.
- Is the re-screen necessary? If you score any 1’s or 2’s or have any asymmetrical ratings, a re-screen is highly recommended so we can determine your progress.
I've been meaning to share something important. I started doing one on one training with Angie Marone after going through the FMS (functional movement screening). Just once a week, and not every week because of my crazy schedule. After just a few sessions, the change in my capabilities is dramatic! After my marathon hike with Dawna Masteller a couple Sundays ago, I met with Angie on Thursday and was still sore. We did some targeted things and the pain was literally gone. Later that night, I went to kickboxing and was able to do several moves at a much higher level than I had before. Better balance, more strength, alleviation of pain, all with just a few private sessions. I'm amazed, grateful, and excited to see what I can accomplish next. Thank you Angie, for showing me the right way and helping me get to my next level!!!

I came to work with Angie because I had issues with injuries and I needed help with learning how to get my muscles to work correctly and engage the proper way.
We have worked on loosening my hip flexors, engaging the proper muscles, core strength, correct forms, strength, flexibility and now we are working on getting my shoulder moving the way it should.
We are still addressing some of my goals and issues but, we have gotten results with my tight hip flexors and I have learned how to engage the proper muscles and more core is stronger and my form has improved on many things.
I would highly recommend Angie’s personal training services to others. Angie has a wealth of information and truly enjoys what she does and it shows by the way she is always researching ways to help her clients improve. Angie goes way above what a personal trainer is expected to do and she is always willing to do what she finds with her clients and never makes them do or try anything she isn’t willing to do herself. If you are looking for a personal trainer you really should give Angie a try, she is truly Amazing.
